October In Review

Well, once again another month has passed since I last posted. I apologize, mom. :) It really isn't my intention to go so long in between, but you know how my days go. Before I know it, a month has gone by. So here you go...plenty of pictures and updates for you. Hope you have some time to just sit and browse, there are quite a few pictures. :)

 

Earlier in the month, we were still having some nice weather. It may not have been shorts and t-shirts weather, but Bria-Bria insists on wearing them whenever possible. :) I took the kids to a playground that is never busy (much to their dismay, but I like not having to be overly watchful and letting the kids run around freely).

Derek likes slides, but hasn't figured out how to go down them alone. ;) Usually I'm holding his hands, but that's hard to do when trying to take a picture too. Big Sister was more than willing to help out.

Tyler and Bria had a class at the zoo and Grandma and Uncle Jonathan went with us. It was a FUN day!

 Our friend/cousin from church got married mid-October. It was a beautiful wedding and a really fund day. Though, I will admit, I found myself telling Matt "Remember the last wedding we were at and didn't have our children with us at the reception? Yeah, and there were only 2 then!" Needless to say, wedding receptions are a lot more challenging to enjoy when you have little people in tow. But we survived. :)

Last week, we went to a pumpkin patch as part of a homeschool field trip. It was a chilly day, but everyone had a good time. They learned about pumpkins, got to choose one a piece, had a hayride, visited some farm animals and played on a playground, old fire truck and military vehicle.
