Yesterday we took Tyler to his first trip to the zoo. We got up early and drove 3 hrs to Omaha, Nebraska. We ate lunch and then went to the zoo. We walked around for 4 hrs., got back in the car, and drove home. Fortunately it wasn't too hot; it had rained earlier in the day and actually cooled things off a bit by the time we got there. We had a good time, but it was a really long day for all of us. Tyler was asleep within 5 minutes of getting back in the car and slept for 2 hrs of the 3 hr drive back home.
