This morning, it was
unexpected to me that Tyler wasn't feeling well. He spent most of his day on the couch and finally got to eat some jello for supper. Hopefully he will be back to his normal self tomorrow and everyone else will escape unscathed. It is
unexpected to have a 70 degree day in October, when we've been having days that don't get out of the 50s. I didn't think we were going to get outside and enjoy it, since Tyler was sick, but it was
unexpected that Bria didn't want to take an afternoon nap, so we went out for a bit while Tyler napped. We went across the street to our neighbor's driveway and I tried to teach Bria the fun of fall leaves; hearing them crunch, playing in them, tossing them in the air, kicking them. But she was a little clingy, so she mostly just watched ME play in them. And it was also
unexpected, at least in our human minds, that Matt's great uncle, Bob Tweed, should pass away tonight after a heart attack. We were in Pennsylvania last weekend and tried to find time to go up and visit him, but we never got the chance. He was a very sweet man. But for anyone who knew him and believes that if we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, we have eternal life and we will see him again, in heaven. Which is
expected.
One of the few orange Maples around us.
The sun was going down and it almost
makes the tree look as if it were burning.

Standing in our neighbor's driveway,
admiring their pretty tree. (That's our
house straight ahead).

Bria was having fun, just being outside.

Making the leaves make crunch.

She actually was blowing a kiss, not
trying to eat a leaf. At least, not
this time!

Hope everyone is enjoying the fall. We're soaking it in as much as possible, because I'm sure it will be gone before I'm ready.
