Tyler's 1st Royals Game

Last night all 3 of us went to watch the Kansas City Royals play the Cleveland Indians. Matt had gotten 4 tickets & a parking pass through a carrier at work and since we couldn't find anyone else to go with us, we decided that we would go as a family. I wondered how Tyler would do, but I think he enjoyed himself. We were outside (always a plus with him) & there were lots of people around (something to keep his attention). He didn't even seem to mind all the noise (the loud music or the fireworks when David DeJesus hit a home run). It was fairly crowded, at least the area we were sitting in, but other than him getting ansy a few times, he did really well. Daddy took him to Guest Services where he got a certificate for his 1st Royals game, which daddy put in a frame this afternoon, along with a ticket stub and is hoping to add the family picture we got taken as well, as soon as my cousin edits it a little (it was really dark). It also happened to be a free bobblehead night (for those of you who are interested, it was John Mayberry) Great...because we need more of those in our house! But since we got to the game late, we missed out. But a nice elderly gentlemen in front of us turned around in the 8th inning and asked me if I would like a bobblehead for my baby, that he had an extra. I said sure, so now Tyler officially owns his 1st bobblehead. How exciting! :)
